As part of our Skill Training efforts, the Sajid Khan Foundation has launched a Digital Literacy Program in Swat and its surrounding areas, aimed at equipping underserved youth with essential computer and internet skills. In today’s digital world, access to technology is no longer optional—it’s a necessity. This initiative bridges the digital divide and enables students and young adults to access education, explore job opportunities, and participate in the modern economy.
Participants in the program receive hands-on training in basic computer operations, typing, internet use, email, document creation, and online safety. The program is run in collaboration with local schools and community centers, ensuring accessibility for students with limited resources. Each session is designed to be interactive and beginner-friendly, focusing on building confidence and practical tech fluency.
Beyond technical skills, the program also introduces participants to online learning platforms, digital communication tools, and opportunities in remote work and e-learning. The goal is to prepare youth not only for academic success but also for future employment and entrepreneurial paths in the digital economy. By investing in digital skills today, we are shaping a generation that’s tech-ready, self-reliant, and full of potential.
