Water & Basic Rights

Clean Water and Fair Life for All

Clean water and fair treatment are not luxuries — they are the rights of every human being. — Sajid Khan Foundation

We help people learn useful skills so they can earn money and support their families. From tailoring to computer use and mobile repair, our training programs are made for both men and women in local communities. Our goal is to give people better job chances and build a stronger future. We also guide them on how to start small businesses.

1. Water for Every Home

In many villages and towns, families still collect water from unsafe places. We install hand pumps and small water systems so they can access clean water near their homes. This reduces illness and saves time, especially for women and children.

2. Clean Drinking Habits

Providing water is just the first step. We teach people how to keep drinking water safe by using clean containers and basic filtration methods. Clean habits prevent diseases like cholera and diarrhea.

3. Basic Rights Awareness

Many people in poor areas don’t know they have rights to clean water, education, fair treatment, and safety. We hold sessions where our team explains these rights in easy language. Knowledge gives people strength.

4. Helping People Speak Up

Sometimes people feel too scared or unsure to raise their voices. We support them in reporting local issues to authorities, joining community meetings, and standing up for what’s fair and just.

5. Women’s Rights and Safety

We educate women and girls about their basic rights, personal safety, and available help in case of abuse or injustice. A woman who knows her rights is less likely to be exploited or harmed.

6. Working with Local Leaders

Change becomes stronger when we work together. We involve local community leaders, teachers, and mosque Imams to spread messages about rights, clean water, and fairness in society.
